Job Description

As a Marketing Manager, your primary responsibility will be to source for manufacturers, vendors, and sellers online and convince them to list their products on our ecommerce site. You will be required to make calls or visit their place to negotiate and persuade them to list their products on our platform.

Responsibilities

  • • Source manufacturers, vendors, and sellers online who can offer a range of products that align with our site's target market.
  • • Identify potential manufacturers, vendors, and sellers that can list their products on our e-commerce site.
  • •Reach out to manufacturers, vendors, and sellers through various online platforms to pitch our e-commerce site as a selling platform.
  • • Make calls and send emails to the potential manufacturers, vendors, and sellers to schedule meetings or visits.
  • •Visit manufacturers, vendors, and sellers to discuss our e-commerce site's benefits and convince them to list their products on our platform.
  • •Negotiate with the manufacturers, vendors, and sellers on the terms of listing their products on our site, including commission fees, product descriptions, and images.
  • •Ensure that all products listed on our site meet our standards and comply with the relevant regulations.
  • •Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of the manufacturers, vendors, and sellers on our platform.
  • •Identify and suggest ways to improve our e-commerce site's seller acquisition and retention rates.
  • •Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to create and implement effective marketing strategies to promote the products listed on our platform.
  • •Provide timely and accurate reports to the management on the progress of the seller acquisition and retention activities.

Requirements:

  • •Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
  • •At least 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce marketing, product sourcing, and vendor management.
  • •Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills
  • •Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, vendors, and sellers.
  • •Strong analytical skills to identify and evaluate potential sellers and products.
  • •Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • •Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • •Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, eBay, and Shopify, online marketing channels and techniques.
  • •Ability to travel to meet with potential sellers and attend industry events.
